(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ The City of Columbia is currently seeking residents to serve on various boards and commissions. These positions provide an opportunity for community members to actively participate in local government and represent the voices of their fellow citizens.

Interested individuals can access the application form on the City's official website, CoMo.gov. The completed applications must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, June 5.

There are several openings available for different boards and commissions, including the Board of Adjustment, Building Construction Codes Commission, Citizens Police Review Board, Climate and Environment Commission, Columbia and Boone County Library District Board, Commission on Cultural Affairs, Commission on Cultural Affairs Standing Committee on Public Art, Dangerous or Aggressive Animal Advisors, Disabilities Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Personnel Advisory Board, Planning and Zoning Commission, Railroad Advisory Board, and Water and Light Advisory Board.
