City of Columbia to host Let's Talk Local discussion for Ward 4

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia is set to hold its monthly Let's Talk Local discussion on Tuesday, December 9th at Fairview Community of Christ. The event will run from 5:30-7 p.m. and will feature Ward 4 Council Member Nick Foster as the guest speaker.

Residents from all wards are invited to attend this open meeting and participate in the discussion. The main focus of this month's meeting will be on the services and programs provided by Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services, as well as those offered by community partners.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions to the event or submit them in advance through BeHeard.CoMo.gov/ask-city-council. Council members and City staff will do their best to address these questions during the meeting. For those who are unable to attend, answers to submitted questions will be posted on BeHeard after the event.

In addition to the informative discussion, refreshments will be provided for attendees. To ensure a spot at the event, residents are asked to register beforehand at https://forms.gle/gxxdmpTrdXmvrUyi9.

For those unsure of which ward they reside in, a map can be found at CoMo.gov/boards/city-council/wards-map/. It is important for residents to know their ward as these meetings are open to all residents from any ward.
