Florida: Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Four to the Children's Services Council of Martin County

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed three new members and reappointed one to the Children's Services Council of Martin County. The newly appointed members are Doug Mustapick, Darlene VanRiper, and Thomas Whittington, while Susan Kinane has been reappointed.

Mustapick brings a wealth of experience to the council as the Chief Resource Officer and Co-Founder of Freedom Code Compliance. He has previously served as the Consulting Chief Information Officer for Avanti Health of Palm Beach Corporation. Mustapick is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and holds a bachelor's degree in business and psychology from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a master's degree in political leadership from the University of San Francisco.

VanRiper, who has been appointed as an executive director, is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Martin County Taxpayers Association. She is actively involved in her community and serves on the Oversight Committee for Millage for the Martin County School District. VanRiper holds a bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University.

Whittington, another new member of the council, is the Owner of Manatee Pocket Yacht Sales. He is also actively involved in his community as a member of the Stuart Sunrise Rotary Club and previously served as President of the Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast. Whittington is a veteran of the United States Army National Guard and holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from North Carolina State University.

Lastly, Kinane has been reappointed to continue her service on the council. She is currently serving as Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Kinane Printing and is an active member of her community through her involvement with organizations such as Palm City Chamber of Commerce and Samaritan Center for Boys Board of Directors. Kinane holds an associate degree from State University of New York.

The Children's Services Council of Martin County plays a crucial role in providing services and resources to children and families in the county. With the addition of these four individuals, the council is well-equipped to continue its important work for the betterment of the community.
