"Often the level of corporate citizenry mirrors the quality of life in our communities," says Jason Christie, publisher of the Triangle Business Journal.  "The Triangle area is fortunate to have so many passionate and helping nonprofits and individuals that are being guided and supported by committed companies across all industries."

Why is Emily Parks so committed to finding a cure for lung cancer? "I lost my father to lung cancer 18 months after he was diagnosed. I want to make a difference in the lives of people with lung cancer and their families, and hopefully, find a cure someday," Parks explained.

In this short video, Emily shares why funds are needed for LCI.  Once again, she will chair the Greensboro LUNGe Forward 5K Run, Walk and Rally event, and this gives an overview of why funds are needed.
