Some performers will perform live from the Before Slavery Exhibit in the Threadmill Complex, while others will join the broadcast from cities across the country, uniting virtually to uplift and inspire the community.

About The Before Slavery Experience Museum
The Before Slavery Experience is a project of the Vibrant Health Association (VHA). VHA is a national non-profit 501(C)3 established in 2004 to educate the public on optimal health in all aspects of our humanity: self-knowledge, mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health. It is the lack of self-knowledge for most African Americans that prompted us to initiate the project of a new Black history exhibition called the "Before Slavery Experience".

The mission of the Before Slavery Experience Museum project is to create extraordinary learning encounters that are life-affirming and foster self-awareness and a healthy sense of connectedness. It is an experience to treasure for a lifetime.
