13th Annual Ventura County Farm Day Moves To Spring 2026
TelAve News/10876549
Ventura County Farm Day is free to attend. Pre-registration is suggested.
VENTURA, Calif. - TelAve -- The 13th Annual Ventura County Farm Day has moved to Spring 2026. Originally scheduled for November 8 of this year, it is now set for April 11, 2026.
"We looked at planting schedules and weather and felt that a move to spring offered many benefits. It means the public can visit farms during the heart of the growing season," says Caitlin Paulus Case, executive director of Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture (SEEAG), the nonprofit that puts on Ventura County Farm Day each year. "We are expecting more farms to participate with new hands-on experiences and activities."

SEEAG's mission is to educate students and the community about the farm origins of their food.
"A Spring event gives SEEAG the opportunity to grow and expand its STEM-based, outdoor education awareness efforts in Ventura County agriculture," says Case. "After visiting farms and talking with farmers, visitors will come away with a greater appreciation of the land and hands that feed us and ideas and tips on how to grow their own Spring garden."
Ventura County Farm Day is free to attend. Pre-registration is suggested. Those already pre-registered for November 8 are automatically registered for April 11. No action is required.
