Bipartisan Resolution Signed by Senate President and Assembly Speaker Recognizes Nearly 5,000 Volunteer Hours and 1,000+ Free Educational Videos
JERSEY CITY, N.J. - TelAve -- The New Jersey State Senate and General Assembly have honored 16-year-old Rishi Vamdatt, founder of Easy Peasy Finance, with a Joint Legislative Resolution commending his exceptional leadership in youth financial literacy. The resolution was sponsored by State Senator Mukherji, Assemblywoman Brennan, and Assemblyman Bhalla, and signed by the Senate President and Assembly Speaker. It recognizes Rishi for founding the platform at age 8, volunteering nearly 5,000 hours to create over 1,000 educational videos, authoring four personal finance books, teaching underprivileged students, and building a free K-12 platform for teachers nationwide.
The resolution declares Rishi's efforts as "immeasurable contributions advancing the financial literacy of this State's youth," and notes that he has "established a model worthy of emulation and set a standard of excellence toward which others might strive."

"Money touches every part of our lives, yet most schools still don't teach it. I started Easy Peasy Finance because I believed that had to change. This honor from the New Jersey Legislature is a testament to my home state's commitment to advancing youth financial literacy — and that's incredibly motivating," said Rishi.
Rishi's recognition comes at a pivotal moment in American financial education. While progress is being made — 30 states now guarantee personal finance education in high school — only 10 have fully implemented these requirements, with the remaining 20 still in the process of doing so. That leaves 20 states with no such guarantee at all, meaning millions of students continue to enter adulthood without foundational money skills. Easy Peasy Finance directly addresses this gap, offering free, engaging content tailored to learners of all ages and a dedicated platform that gives teachers ready-made tools to bring financial literacy into any classroom, regardless of where state policy stands.
