Author Bruce Goldwell Releases New Inspirational Novel Inspired by a Story Shared Decades Ago

Where the Footprints Stopped: A Story Shared at the End of a Lifetime explores hope, perspective, and the belief that one moment does not define a life.
KISSIMMEE, Fla. - TelAve -- "I hope this story reaches someone who needs hope."
"Can a story change a life? I believe it can. Not because stories solve every problem—but because sometimes they remind us to stay long enough to see what tomorrow brings. If this story gives even one person hope during a difficult season, then sharing it was worth it." — Bruce Goldwell
Author Bruce Goldwell announces the release of his new inspirational speculative novel, Where the Footprints Stopped: A Story Shared at the End of a Lifetime, a reflective story inspired in part by an experience shared with the author many years ago.
Unlike traditional science fiction, Where the Footprints Stopped focuses less on extraordinary events and more on what happens afterward—how one experience can reshape a person's outlook, relationships, purpose, and understanding of life.
The novel follows an aging man who invites an author to hear a story he kept silent for more than fifty years. Decades earlier, during one of the lowest points of his life, the young man walked into the desert searching for answers. What followed became something he would spend the rest of his life trying not to explain—but to live.

"This book isn't about proving impossible things," said Goldwell. "It's about remembering that one difficult season does not define a life and that sometimes the future surprises us."
The story carries personal significance for Goldwell. The original story that inspired the project was shared with him years ago by a friend who has since passed away. While the novel expands the narrative through fictionalized scenes and storytelling, Goldwell says the emotional heart of the experience remained with him for years.
"For a long time I questioned whether I should share it," Goldwell said. "Eventually I realized it wasn't my story to keep."
Known for publishing across multiple genres, Bruce Goldwell has authored more than 500 books spanning inspirational fiction, personal growth, speculative storytelling, relationships, leadership, educational content, and creative projects.
Where the Footprints Stopped explores themes of hope, faith, personal transformation, perspective, and the reminder that life remains unwritten.
The book is now available in Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and paperback editions.
