CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. - TelAve -- Fox&Summit® introduced today a solution for those safeguarding their home from potentially costly water damage – a Wi-Fi Water Leak Sensor (FS-WLS200). The water detection device from Fox&Summit® expands its growing range of security sensors, smart plugs, and smart lighting.
The Fox&Summit® Water Leak Sensor boasts a new design that makes this utilitarian product attractive in any home setting. Inspired by everyday needs of people, the connected leak sensor gives consumers peace of mind by sending push notifications directly to a smartphone in case of leaky appliances, dripping pipes, or rain seeping through a damaged window. A built-in chime for local audible alerts lets someone at home address the water leaks immediately.

Each new Wi-Fi Water Leak Sensor comes with batteries, a sensor extension cable with cable management brackets, and a mounting adhesive strip for easy and flexible installation. The additional sensor cable also offers consumers greater moisture-sensing coverage for places like the laundry room.
The Fox&Summit® Water Leak Sensor leverages existing 2.4GHz Wi-Fi® networks for a hub-free ecosystem. This simplifies installation with a wireless and wire-free set up and reduces cost to consumers by eliminating the need to purchase an additional smart hub.
"We've worked hard to offer the market a smart sensor that is thoughtful and useful, while filling out our product range of affordable, hub-free devices," says Vincent Reapor, COO of Fox&Summit®. "We continue to develop products we would use in our own homes. Water leak damage at home can be very expensive. We hope with early detection this device can minimize that cost or avoid further damage to any connected home."
