Project Description:
AxisTech's involvement in the FOSU project required extensive coordination and technical expertise. The project involved a detailed splice schedule, integrating new splices into existing cables and ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Working closely with the client's consultant, AxisTech proposed user-friendly termination hardware, enhancing long-term maintenance accessibility.
The project faced additional challenges due to the restricted working hours along the guideway, which were carefully managed to align with the SkyTrain's maintenance schedule. Despite these constraints, AxisTech's team successfully completed the installation on time and to the highest standards.
Key Highlights:
- Armoured Ribbon Fibre Installation: Installation of 40 kilometers of armoured ribbon fibre cables along the SkyTrain guideway and at each station, ensuring robust and reliable data transmission.
