BDA Uses Technology to Connect Professionals, Strengthen Business Relationships and Support Civic Ac

The Business Development Alliance is a professional networking, prospecting, and civic advocacy organization that uses advanced technology to create curated business connections, strategic introductions and community-centered opportunities for growth
FRISCO, Texas - TelAve -- NORTH TEXAS — Lendon Wilson, author of the Amazon Top 100 book The Entrepreneurial Difference and the newly released The Behavioral Difference, is expanding his work in business development, behavior, reputation, and opportunity through The Business Development Alliance, a professional networking, prospecting, and civic advocacy organization with more than 600 in-network professionals.
The Business Development Alliance, also known as the BDA, was created to modernize how business owners, professionals, civic leaders, and engaged residents connect, collaborate, and create opportunity.
Unlike traditional networking groups built around random referrals, repetitive meetings, awkward conversations, and hoping the right person happens to be in the room, the BDA uses today's advanced technology to provide daily curated connections for every member.

These daily curated connections are not random introductions, casual suggestions, or blind referrals. Each connection is intentionally selected based on alignment, opportunity, relevance, and the potential for meaningful collaboration.
For members, that means fewer awkward meetings, less wasted time, and fewer missed opportunities. Instead of simply being told to "go network," BDA members receive daily curated connections with context, purpose, and a strategic playbook that explains why the connection matters, where the opportunity may exist, and how the members may be able to create value together.
"The old way of networking asks professionals to keep showing up, shake hands, trade cards, and hope they eventually meet the right person," said Wilson. "The BDA was created to make business development more intentional. Our members receive daily curated connections with context, purpose, and a playbook for how the relationship may create value."
The BDA is built on the belief that opportunity is not created by networking alone. It is created through behavior, reputation, visibility, strategic alignment, follow-up, follow-through, and trust.

The civic advocacy component of the BDA is also central to its mission. Wilson believes business owners and professionals cannot separate their business success from the health, leadership, accountability, and economic environment of the communities they serve.
Through BDA Advocacy, the organization encourages business owners, professionals, civic leaders, and residents to become more informed, connected, and engaged in the decisions that shape local business climate, community trust, and long-term opportunity.
The Business Development Alliance currently includes more than 600 in-network professionals and is continuing to expand its platform, Power Match system, member tools, and civic engagement initiatives across North Texas.
