The MX-340-IRD does more than switch between networks. When cellular connectivity is unavailable, application-aware edge logic can identify, prioritize, buffer, and forward selected critical information over Iridium SBD®.

That information can include alarms and exception events, equipment status, telemetry, GNSS location, selected Modbus or DNP3 data, and customer-defined application payloads.

Rather than replicating the entire cellular data path over satellite, the MX-340-IRD lets organizations prioritize the essential operational information.
