A Legacy Reimagined
BGE's story began with three sisters—Shonda, Krishan, and Jeanne—who set out to create more than just shoes; they built a movement. Originally founded as Baby Girl Elite, the brand was born from the dream of their father, La'Nardo Myrick Sr., who wanted his daughters to have something meaningful of their own.
The journey started with the release of the SJ1, designed by La'Shonda alongside her father through the Alive Shoes platform. That first design symbolized gratitude, growth, and possibility. Now, under the banner of Being Great Everyday, the sisters are carrying that vision forward with a rebrand that reflects resilience, empowerment, and the pursuit of excellence.
