The City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) has announced that their bulk water station, located at 3220 South Walnut Street, is currently out of service. This is due to an issue with the facility's payment system, which is expected to take until 2027 to repair.
The station is a crucial source of water for customers who require large amounts, such as landscaping or power washing companies. However, during this extended outage, these customers will need to make use of hydrant meters to purchase bulk water from CBU.
