~ As winter approaches, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department is offering a fun and active way to beat the cold. Open Gym at the Carter Playground Bubble, located at 709 Columbus Avenue, is open to students, families, and community members.

Starting on January 5th and running through February 23rd, open gym will take place every Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. During February vacation, there will be additional open gym times on Thursday, February 19th and Friday, February 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This community open gym time provides an opportunity for participants to engage in pick-up sports such as kickball, wiffleball, soccer, football, and running laps. To join in on the fun, registration is required and can be completed by filling out the registration form on the Boston Parks and Recreation Department's website.
