BrainKraft™ Announces Creative Commons Licensing for the BrainKraft Product Launch Framework™
TelAve News/10647307
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - TelAve --
As an extension to the BrainKraft Product Launch System, today BrainKraft announced the BrainKraft Product Launch Framework has a Creative Commons License. Framework users are free to make versions of the BrainKraft Product Launch Framework that matches they way their business works.
BrainKraft Product Launch Framework
A product launch is one of the most cross-functional initiatives a company undertakes. The BrainKraft Product System takes the unique point of view that a successful product launch is defined by the business results it delivers.
BrainKraft Founder Dave Daniels put it this way, "The success of a product launch is measured by results, not by deliverables. CEOs don't invest in deliverables. One way to help companies deliver product launch results is to provide them the freedom to extend the BrainKraft Product Launch Framework to the unique contours of their business."
Under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License users are free to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, and remix, transform, and build upon the material. Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. One final point is users may not use their modifications for commercial purposes.

According to Daniels the primary motivations behind adopting a Creative Commons License are to:
A key differentiator of the BrainKraft Product Launch Framework is how it's represented. Most frameworks are collections of rectangles (bricks) representing activities that are loosely organized in a waterfall fashion.
The BrainKraft Product Launch Framework is a bold departure that focuses on a collection of connected processes. Circles (donuts) are the ideal shape to represent processes that are interdependent and iterative.
Steve Johnson, founder of Under10 Consulting and expert in overcoming chaos in product planning said, "Today's ideal process isn't a line; it's a wheel. The BrainKraft framework is built with wheels upon wheels, reflecting the way today's teams really work." Johnson has incorporated BrainKraft framework in his toolkit of methods.
Covering the Full Life Cycle of a Product Launch
The BrainKraft Product Launch Framework addresses the full continuum of a product launch across two major phases: planning and execution.

Each launch phase has a set of interconnected processes BrainKraft call 'donuts'. The donuts range across the launch life cycle from assessing the launch situation to evaluating what worked and what didn't.
Each donut is connected by decision points (dots) that signal the transition from one donut to the next. What is learned in one donut can easily result in revisiting prior donuts.
In the planning phase are donuts with labels like Objectives, Segments, Positioning, and Launch Plan. In the execution phase are donuts with labels like Prepare, GO, and Accelerate.
