Platform tracks more than 53,000 disclosed trades by members of Congress, the President and Cabinet officials, scores each official against the S&P 500, and flags trades that overlap a lawmaker's own committee

TelAve -- Capitol Markets, a financial-transparency platform and newsroom, today introduced its politician stock-trade tracker, which puts congressional and executive-branch trading in one place and delivers each new disclosure to subscribers within minutes of it reaching the public record.

Members of Congress disclose their trades under the STOCK Act, and senior executive-branch officials, including the President, file OGE Form 278-T. Those filings are public but scattered across three government systems, many arrive as scanned paper, and most readers hear about them days later. Capitol Markets checks the House Clerk every ten minutes, along with the Senate and the Office of Government Ethics, and alerts subscribers by email, Telegram, push or webhook as soon as a new filing is verified.

"These filings are public, but they have never been easy to act on," said Matthew, founder of Capitol Markets. "We built Capitol Markets so an ordinary investor sees the filing when a professional desk does, in plain English, with the context that tells you whether it matters."

A deep public record

Capitol Markets holds 53,397 disclosed trades across 2,889 filings from 276 officials, back to 2015, including 8,959 executive-branch trades, 6,280 of them the President's. It also carries 17,160 bills and 10,938 roll-call votes for legislative context.

What sets it apart
  • Every official scored against the S&P 500 and ranked on a public leaderboard.
  • Committee-conflict flags on trades in industries a member's own committee oversees.
  • The President and Cabinet tracked beside Congress, where most trackers cover Congress alone.
  • Scanned filings read twice, independently, before anything is published.
  • Watchlists that alert subscribers when a followed politician or stock appears in a new filing.
