CCG Adds 'Hot Topics Reports' in Bulletin Alert Tracking System
TelAve News/10867711
Reports Provide Convenient Snapshot of DOI Activity on Trending Topics
NEW YORK - TelAve -- Coneal Consulting Group recently added a "Hot Topics Reports" section in its 51-state Insurance Bulletin Alert Tracking System, www.insurancebulletins.com, that houses nearly 10,000 insurance bulletins from 2006 to the current year. The "Hot Topics Reports" track activity from insurance departments on emerging insurance issues.
Currently, CCG's "Hot Topics Reports" section includes cumulative reports of linked bulletins on an insurer's use of aerial images and artificial intelligence and the insurance departments' response to the 2024 Change Healthcare cyberattack. To date, nine state insurance departments have issued bulletins on an insurer's use of aerial images for cancellations and nonrenewals, while 27 states have issued bulletins on artificial intelligence. Also, 15 jurisdictions have issued bulletins on how health insurers are to respond to the 2024 Change Healthcare cyberattack.

The "Hot Topics Reports" are updated daily and are available as part of a one-year subscription to CCG's larger bulletin database, www.insurancebulletins.com, or separately as a one-time purchase with real-time updates on CCG's store, https://www.payhip.com/ccg.
On CCG's store, the "DOI Artificial Intelligence Report" and the "Change Healthcare Cyberattack Report" are part of more comprehensive packages that include statistical information, such as bar charts tracking the number of days it took for insurance departments to issue AI bulletins after the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) adopted its model AI bulletin on December 4, 2023 and the number of days it took for insurance departments to issue bulletins after the February 21, 2024 cyberattack on Change Healthcare. Links and copies of the actual state bulletins are included in each report. Also, for the AI report, electronic subscribers receive a 51-state table with a "Yes/No" column showing whether a state adopted the NAIC's model bulletin or a comparable.
