MCLEAN, Va. - TelAve -- The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) hosted a vibrant dialogue focused on artificial intelligence (AI) on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 12 noon ET via Zoom.
"CEE's program alumni are making a tremendous impact in this exciting field," said Joann P. DiGennaro, CEE President. "I'm so proud of their accomplishments."
Distinguished panelists are all alumni of CEE's Research Science Institute.
Dr. Jessie Rosenberg (RSI '01), Science Program Manager and AI Researcher at IBM, is an AI researcher with a background in optical and semiconductor physics.
Dr. Michael Mitzenmacher (RSI '86) is the Thomas J. Watson, Sr. Professor of Computer Science at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Shishir Mehrotra (RSI '95) is Co-Founder and CEO of Coda. He previously served as Vice President of Product and Engineering, Youtube/Video at Google Inc.
This webinar is comprised of 45 minutes of panel discussion followed by 20 minutes of Q&A. The Honorable Clarine Nardi Riddle, Counsel, Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP, and a CEE Trustee, served as moderator. Through its network of research scientists and world-class presenters, CEE offers this program as part of a series to articulate recent advances in AI to non-experts while also meaningfully addressing core challenges for experienced computer scientists, software engineers, technologists, entrepreneurs, investors, business executives, public policymakers, and ethicists.
