PAUL, Minn. - TelAve -- Saint Paul, Minnesota- This October, Planting People Growing Justice will join the American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA) and partners throughout North America to highlight Choose Indie Art Month.  This campaign is part of a larger Choose Indie Local year-round program supported by AMIBA: shopindielocal.org (https://amiba.net/shop-indie-local/).

Local artists are weaving together a rich multicultural tapestry through their creativity and innovation.

"We want to inspire community members to celebrate locally owned artists, artisans, and creativity," shared Jen Risley, AMIBA's Choose Indie Local coordinator.  "Choose Indie Art to boost your local economy and quality of life."

As part of the Choose Indie Art Month festivities, we are hosting a community arts and cultural educational experience at Leaders are Readers. The event will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 (11 AM - 1 PM) at Jimmy Lee Recreation (1063 Iglehart Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55104).
