Celebrate Colorado is Back! A Week of Free and Discounted Events Around Colorado

DENVER ~ Denver, CO - The third annual Celebrate Colorado is set to kick off this Friday, July 25th and will run through Sunday, August 3rd, 2025. This week-long statewide celebration offers a variety of free and discounted events for Coloradans to enjoy in their local communities and across the state. Governor Polis is encouraging all residents to take part in the festivities and celebrate the beauty of their state.

The Celebrate Colorado Event Form is now open for event registration, allowing organizations and businesses to showcase their events during this special week. Coloradans can also use the Celebrate Colorado interactive map to find local events and discounted activities.

As Colorado approaches its sesquicentennial in 2026, Governor Polis urges everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to appreciate all that the state has to offer. "Colorado is the best place to live, work, play, and celebrate everything that makes it unique," said Governor Polis.

In preparation for the state's 150th birthday, Coloradans are encouraged to explore their communities and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. Here are just a few of the exciting events happening during Celebrate Colorado:

- Campfire Programs at Bear Creek Lake Park: Every Saturday from June 21st to July 26th, residents can join park naturalists and special guests at the amphitheater behind the Visitor Center for free educational programs about local animals, ecosystems, and conservation.

- Daniel Danato's Cosmic Country in Steamboat Springs: On July 31st, visitors can attend this free concert at Steamboat's historic Howelsen Hill Ski Area. This is one of five concerts held each summer for the community and visitors.

- Havana Street Nights Market in Aurora: Returning in 2025 with even more energy than before, this night market offers a variety of food vendors, diverse merchandise options, and non-stop entertainment on July 26th.

- Adams County Fair in Adams County: From July 30th to August 3rd, residents and visitors can experience the classic county fair magic with free entertainment all day long. Free off-site shuttles are also available for families to easily access the fair.
