Several City parks, including Garden of the Gods, North Cheyenne Cañon, and Palmer Park, are closed to vehicle traffic due to hazardous conditions. Emergency responders and essential City personnel will continue to work their normal schedules.
The Public Works Operations & Maintenance Division is working diligently to clear primary and secondary routes as snow continues to fall. Drivers are urged to plan extra time for their commute and use caution around snowplows. It is important to maintain a safe distance from these vehicles as they have limited visibility.
For the latest updates on closures and delays, residents can visit ColoradoSprings.gov or follow social media accounts such as Twitter (@CityofCOS, @CSFDPIO, @CSPDPIO, @MountainMetro) and Facebook (Facebook.com/CityofCOS, Facebook.com/COSpringsParks).
