Colorado: Governor Polis Announces Cabinet Update

DENVER ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Polis has appointed Jana Locke as the new Executive Director of the Department of Personnel and Administration. This update to his executive cabinet brings in a highly experienced and capable leader to oversee the department's operations.
With decades of experience in Colorado state government, Locke has proven herself as a dedicated public servant. Most recently, she served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Department of Public Safety, where she managed over 2,400 employees and delivered results for the people of Colorado. Her contributions have helped make the state and its communities safer, while also ensuring responsible use of taxpayer dollars and promoting innovation within government.
Governor Polis expressed his confidence in Locke's abilities, stating, "I am thrilled Jana is stepping into this role and know she will bring steady leadership and operational excellence to DPA." He also highlighted her extensive experience in state government and her track record of delivering results for Coloradans.

Locke herself expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to lead the Department of Personnel and Administration. Stan Hilkey, Executive Director of CDPS (Colorado Department of Public Safety), also praised Locke's leadership skills.
