DENVER ~ Denver - In a move to further promote safe gun ownership and protect Coloradans from senseless gun violence, Governor Polis signed several bills into law today. Governor Polis expressed his support for the new legislation, stating that it will help keep communities safe and prevent gun violence. He also signed three bipartisan bills into law today: SB26-039, which addresses disability and survivor benefits for the Fire and Police Pension Association; SB26-050, which requires child care centers to disclose certain policies; and SB26-074, which clarifies penalties for excessive public construction bond claims.
