TelAve News/10875654
(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Regional Airport (COU) has announced a significant increase in American Airlines service for the upcoming months, with an average capacity boost of 26 percent compared to last year. This expansion comes as welcome news for mid-Missouri travelers, who will now have more convenient options for accessing one of the nation's busiest hubs.

The highlight of this increase is a 62 percent jump in seats to Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD), providing even more opportunities for passengers to connect with domestic and international destinations. Additionally, service to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) remains strong, reflecting consistent performance and steady growth.

According to COU Airport Manager Mike Park, American Airlines has been a valued partner for over 12 years. "These added seats and expanded schedules mean more opportunities for our community to connect with the world," Park stated. "Whether that's nonstop flights to two of the largest U.S. hubs or connections to hundreds of destinations."
