TelAve News/10896158
(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia Public Works department has announced that a summer maintenance project will begin on Monday, May 18 at the Eighth and Walnut Plaza Parking Garage. The project, which is expected to continue through early August, will involve cable repairs, concrete repairs, and sealant and expansion joint replacement work throughout the garage.

During the construction period, the garage will only be open to permit parking. Hourly public parking will not be available at the garage and all hourly parking spaces will be reserved for permit holders. To accommodate for this restriction, signs will be posted at both entrances of the garage directing hourly parkers to use the Fifth and Walnut Parking Garage. In case of full designated hourly parking areas at Fifth and Walnut, hourly parkers will be allowed to use permit parking spaces within that garage.
