Columbia: Overnight road closure of South Sinclair Road at West Southampton Drive, June 23-24

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ COLUMBIA, MO - In a press release issued today, it was announced that South Sinclair Road will be closed between West Southampton Drive and Muirfield Drive starting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23. The closure is necessary for the installation of storm sewer pipes as part of a private development project that includes the construction of a roundabout.
According to officials, northbound traffic on South Sinclair Road will be detoured via Muirfield Drive while southbound traffic will remain open until West Southampton Drive. Barricades will be placed south of the intersection to ensure safety.

To assist motorists in navigating through the area, electronic message boards and temporary traffic signs will be in place. Additionally, sidewalks in the work area will be closed overnight.
The road is expected to reopen by 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24. Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and follow all posted signs and detours for a smooth commute during this time.
