Columbia Police arrest assault suspect following standoff on Summit Road

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police officers have arrested a 29-year-old man from St. Louis, Octavious Bradshaw, after a five-hour standoff on May 31 in the 2700 block of Summit Road. The arrest was made following a domestic disturbance call at around 4:30 a.m., where the victim reported being assaulted and threatened with a weapon. The victim identified Bradshaw as the suspect.
After hours of negotiation by Columbia Police crisis negotiators and SWAT officers, Bradshaw was taken into custody at approximately 9:30 a.m. He is facing multiple charges including unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, endangering the welfare of two children, domestic assault, resisting arrest, property damage, and several warrants.
