(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route B near the intersection of Waco Road in the early hours of April 1. According to reports, the driver, 20-year-old Mohamed Abdalla of Columbia, was traveling south on Route B when his vehicle veered across traffic lanes, jumped a median, and collided with a traffic control pole.

Abdalla was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries on April 2. The next of kin has been notified.
