Columbia: True/False Film Fest announces community passes for low-income households
TelAve News/10886504
(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia residents with a family household income of less than 185% of the poverty level have the opportunity to attend the 2026 True/False Film Fest for free, thanks to a partnership between Ragtag Film Society and Columbia Parks and Recreation. This is the fourth consecutive year that the two organizations have collaborated to offer complimentary passes to the festival.
As the operators of True/False, Ragtag Film Society is making a limited number of Classic passes available for eligible residents. Columbia Parks and Recreation will be accepting entry forms and handling distribution through its administrative office.
Interested individuals can register for vouchers in three ways: online through the 2026 True/False Film Fest Community Pass Entry Form, by calling Columbia Parks and Recreation during regular business hours, or by visiting their office in person. The deadline for registration is Friday, Feb. 6 and recipients will be notified by Wednesday, Feb. 11.

However, receiving a pass does not guarantee admission to the festival. Pass recipients will be selected through a random drawing by Columbia Parks and Recreation. It is recommended that winners have access to the internet for communication about their pass and making ticket reservations, which open on Feb. 21 at 6 p.m.
Each household can request one complimentary pass for two people, which includes two passes for two individuals. These passes are non-transferable and registrants must be at least 18 years old.
If selected as a winner, passes must be picked up from the True/False Film Fest Box Office at Sager Reeves Gallery on March 4-8 during designated hours. The festival itself will take place from March 5-8 in downtown Columbia.
For more information about the festival or how to obtain a complimentary pass, interested individuals can visit truefalse.org or contact the True/False Box Office Team via email. Don't miss this opportunity to experience one of Columbia's most highly anticipated events!
