Cross Stitch Designer Lord Libidan Releases "Small Cross Stitch Alphabets"
TelAve News/10907658
A 100-Font Collection Organized by Height, a First for the Craft
GREATER MANCHESTER, U.K. - TelAve -- Lord Libidan, a cross stitch designer whose free patterns have been a fixture of the craft community since 2009, has published Lord Libidan's Small Cross Stitch Alphabets: 100 Patterns Organized by Height, now available in paperback, Kindle, and PDF formats.
The book collects 100 mono-colour, whole cross stitch alphabets ranging from 4 to 16 stitches high, including 50 brand-new fonts alongside 50 reader favourites from the designer's website. What sets the collection apart is its organizing principle: rather than grouping fonts by style or theme, as every other book in the category does, alphabets are arranged by capital letter height, letting stitchers flip directly to a font that will fit a specific project.
"People have been asking for this for years," said Lord Libidan, the designer behind the collection. "You know you need something six or seven stitches tall for a project, but every alphabet book makes you scroll through hundreds of fonts to find one that fits. This book solves that problem directly."

Each font is presented as a clean, whole-stitch grid with no backstitch or symbols, designed to work with any thread colour and drop into virtually any pattern or sampler. The book's interior is black and white for print clarity, with a full-colour cover, and includes reference material on reading the grid, fabric count conversions, and project ideas for using the alphabets in monograms, samplers, and personalized gifts.
The release coincides with the launch of a free companion tool on lordlibidan.com, where visitors can type text and preview it instantly rendered in any of the book's fonts before stitching.
Lord Libidan's design work has appeared in more than 40 cross stitch magazines and six books, and includes officially licensed kits for properties such as Star Trek and Hello Kitty. The designer has been recognized with a Cross Stitcher of the Year award and maintains a working relationship with Mr X Stitch, a respected voice in the embroidery and cross stitch community.
