VANCOUVER, British Columbia - TelAve -- elder zeitgeist Expedition 2027 Scales Up to $1M Northwest Passage Solo Voyage, Welcomes Vancouver's Whole Way House as Fourth Beneficiary

Montreal, QC — The Elder Zeitgeist expedition has officially named Whole Way House as its fourth charitable partner, expanding its national campaign as the newly expanded 7,000-nautical-mile voyage through the Northwest Passage prepares for its final destination.

Originally planned as a three-month round-trip solo expedition to Labrador with a $250,000 fundraising goal, the mission has expanded into a four-to-five-month solo sailing expedition from Montreal to Vancouver via the Northwest Passage. With the route extension, the campaign has raised its fundraising target to $1 million to tackle elder homelessness across Canada.

Co-Founded by CEO Jenny Konkin, Vancouver-based Whole Way House provides dignity-first housing support, community-building programs, and tenant services for vulnerable seniors and veterans in the Lower Mainland. The organization joins our national coalition of beneficiaries alongside Raising the Roof, the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness, and the Canadian Artists Network.

Every dollar raised throughout the $1 million campaign will be split evenly among our partner charities, directly funding front-line housing support, tenant advocacy, and community programs for our elders.
