Extreme Bike Tours offers all-inclusive, fully-supported 14-day itineraries
COLOMBO, Sri Lanka - July 21, 2016 - TelAve -- Known for its stunning mountain vistas, Buddhist traditions, and lush winding valleys, the Kingdom of Bhutan is a "bucket list" destination for many North Americans. Add the thrill of exploring the country riding a classic Royal Enfield motorcycle, and you have the sort of adventure that will provide a lifetime of memories and envy-inducing stories.
Extreme Bike Tours has recently announced two 2017 dates for their fully-supported Bhutan motorcycle tours. The itinerary leads riders through the mountain kingdom's highlights including the world's third highest mountain, Mount Kangchenjunga; Paro's iconic Tiger's Nest monastery; and the Bhutanese capital of Thimphu. Each tour is limited to just 10 bikes (plus pillion passengers) and is fully-supported with an experienced team leading riders along the route, refuelling and maintaining the motorcycles, and transporting luggage between each evening's accommodations. Carefully chosen hotels and guesthouses, and deluxe meals are included in the tour price.

"Bhutan is an amazing destination to explore by motorcycle," says Extreme Bike Tours founder, Zander Combe. "Sweeping views of mountains and valleys greet you with each turn, and the people are just incredible. Being on a bike allows you to really get to know the culture, interact with the locals, and also enjoy some of the best riding on the planet."
Extreme Bike Tours is offering two fully-inclusive 2017 Bhutan itineraries, each 14 days in total with approximately six to eight hours of riding on most of the days. The first tour is April 12 – 26, and the second runs April 26 – May 10. The regular price for the tour is USD $6,970 (USD $5,720 for pillion passengers) but guests can save 10 percent off the price by quoting the code "BCAN17" when booking directly through ExtremeBikeTours.com.
A full list of 2017 tours can be found at ExtremeBikeTours.com, with itineraries exploring India, Sri Lanka and Mongolia in addition to Bhutan. Those signing up for the tours do need to be experienced and confident riding a motorbike, but the company's trained team is on hand at all times to guide the tour and make sure riders are safe. Extreme Bike Tours made a name for itself and its tour services when the company worked with BBC's Top Gear program on the show's India Christmas special in 2011, as well as being featured on The Discovery Channel. The "Extreme" in the company's name refers to the unique destinations the tours introduce riders to.
