The documentary has been released through Journeyman Pictures and is now available to watch online.

The film is directed by British actor and filmmaker Daniel Coll and produced by the independent production company Picture Point Films.

Coll, whose career has spanned theatre, television and film, has increasingly focused on documentary storytelling that examines major global events and political developments.

John Sweeney is widely regarded as one of Britain's most fearless investigative journalists.

His distinguished career includes:

• Emmy Award and Royal Television Society prizes for his reporting on the Kosovo conflict
• Amnesty International Prize for exposing human rights abuses in Chechnya
• Paul Foot Award for investigative journalism that helped free wrongly convicted individuals
