In its very first year of operation, White Tree Farm earned **First Place for Fresh Cheese of the Year** in both the *Got To Be NC Dairy Competition* and the *Southeast Farmstead Dairy Products Competition*. Heather Goforth's journey began with a few goats, a love of farming, and a dream to create something unique. She now raises her goats on the farm, handcrafts every batch of cheese, and oversees every detail of production.
