Film Volt Group unveils FVG Studios as UK–Canada studio platform
TelAve News/10885647
After two years of behind-the-scenes development, Film Volt Group formalises its studio operations as FVG Studios, with UK–Canada co-production Daring Greatly moving into full pre-production.
TORONTO - TelAve -- Film Volt Group Ltd has formally consolidated its film and television operations under FVG Studios, establishing a clearer studio-led structure operating across the UK and Canada. The move follows more than two years of strategic planning and reflects how the company has already been operating behind the scenes.
Film Volt Group Ltd remains the parent and operating company, with FVG Studios serving as the dedicated studio banner under which its slate of film, television, factual, and digital projects are developed, produced, and delivered. The consolidation brings development, production, distribution, marketing, publishing, merchandising, and data-led strategy into a single integrated studio framework, providing greater clarity for partners, platforms, creatives, and investors.
As part of this next phase, FVG Studios has confirmed its first feature project, Daring Greatly, which has now entered full pre-production. The film is being developed as an official UK–Canada co-production treaty project in partnership with iCogitate Productions Inc., alongside additional production and servicing partners across both territories.

Set in Toronto, Daring Greatly is a prestige true-crime thriller examining the investigation into a serial killer who targeted men within the city's LGBTQ+ community. Rooted in real events, the project is being developed with a strong emphasis on responsibility, dignity, and the human impact of the crimes rather than sensationalism. The film is structured from the outset within a UK–Canada treaty framework and will serve as the first project delivered under the FVG Studios model.
The launch of FVG Studios marks a shift to a slate-based studio model focused on long-term IP ownership, international co-production, and platform-ready distribution. Further project updates will follow as productions advance.
