~ Fishers Parks Announces the Return of the Fishers Farmers Market, Presented by IU Health
The highly anticipated Fishers Farmers Market, presented by IU Health, is set to make its return this Saturday, May 2 at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater. This year's market promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with an expanded layout and over 25 new vendors joining the lineup.
Located at 6 Municipal Drive in downtown Fishers, the market will kick off its season with its largest footprint to date. The new layout will surround the AMP and offer more space for guests to explore and discover local goods. In addition, a new feature has been added - the Fishers Farmers Market Breezeway Café. This café will offer coffee, pastries, and additional seating for visitors to relax and enjoy their market finds.
But opening day is not just about shopping. It also marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Month in Fishers. To support this initiative, the annual Hope for Happiness event will be hosted in partnership with Hamilton Southeastern High Schools' Bring Change to Mind clubs and the Fishers Health Department. This event aims to promote well-being through hands-on activities such as creating glitter stress jars and decorating mindfulness journals.

The market will take place every Saturday through September from 8 a.m. to noon and will feature over 90 Indiana vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, baked goods, meats, specialty foods, coffee, plants, and artisan goods. With so many options available, there is something for everyone at this top-ranked market.
Fishers Parks Director Marissa Deckert expressed her excitement for this year's market expansion stating that it allows them to "elevate that experience even further." She also emphasized how important it is to support local businesses while creating a space for the community to gather and connect.
Aside from shopping opportunities, the market also offers a full morning of programming each week. This includes free community yoga, live music by local artists, and a popular kids' activity hosted by Fishers Parks.
Throughout the season, there will also be several themed market days to provide additional engagement opportunities. These include Sustainability Day, Thrift-a-Thon, Biz Kidz Festival, Accessibility and Inclusion Day, Health and Wellness Day, Safety Day, Day of Service, and Club Day.
Free parking is available throughout the Nickel Plate District in various locations such as street parking, surface lots, and nearby garages. Special thanks to the 2026 Fishers Farmers Market presenting sponsor IU Health and partner sponsor Harrah's Hoosier Park Racing & Casino.
