MANHATTAN, N.Y. - TelAve -- The update adds 17 verified New York City modular public restroom locations across all five boroughs and strengthens how the app handles temporary public-data outages.

The new restroom locations are part of New York City's modular public restroom pilot.

The App now includes the announced locations in Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, with map coordinates, daily hours, and accessibility details.

The City describes the units as free, ADA-accessible, and fully touchless, with daily availability from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The latest release also improves reliability behind the scenes. When an official public-data service is temporarily unavailable, FreeSpot Finder keeps its New York City restroom map available through verified built-in locations and safe fallback handling.

This means visitors can continue using the map rather than encountering a failed-data message.
