Future-Ready Launchpad™ Helps Foster Youth Build Stability After Care

TelAve News/10897448
New pilot program prepares young adults ages 18–24 aging out of foster care with life skills, career readiness, AI literacy, and a 90-day action plan.

BLOOMFIELD, N.J. - TelAve -- Thrive Leadership Institute, Inc. has announced the launch of Future-Ready Launchpad™, a trauma-aware career, life, and AI readiness program designed for young adults ages 18–24 who are aging out of foster care.

The need is urgent. According to the Annie E. Casey Foundation, one in four youth in foster care at age 17 and surveyed at age 21 said they had been homeless at some point in the previous two years.* Future-Ready Launchpad™ was created to help young adults build stability before crisis becomes their next chapter.

The program helps participants move from survival mode to stable adulthood by building real-world skills, confidence, support systems, and a clear 90-day plan. Through guided sessions, participants learn how to prepare for work, make stronger life decisions, use AI responsibly, communicate with confidence, and identify the people and resources that can help them keep moving forward.

The sample six-week pilot includes sessions on life planning, money and housing decisions, career pathways, AI as a career partner, workplace communication, and future-ready action planning. Participants will leave with a 90-day life and career action plan, a resume or career profile, a job search and interview readiness plan, a basic budget and money awareness plan, a personal support map, and a practical AI prompt toolkit.
