~ New Braunfels resident Jay Bueche has been appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve on the Texas Pharmaceutical Initiative Governing Board. Bueche, who currently serves as the managing director of pharmacy for H-E-B, will hold this position until February 1, 2031.

The Texas Pharmaceutical Initiative Governing Board is responsible for creating a business plan that will make affordable drugs and medical supplies accessible to public employees. With his extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Bueche is well-equipped to contribute to this important task.

Bueche's impressive resume includes previous roles as the director of third party and pharmacy compliance at H-E-B. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of the Incarnate Word's Feik School of Pharmacy and is a preceptor at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy.
