Last year, Governor Abbott signed House Bill 20 and House Bill 120 into law to expand career and technical education opportunities for students across Texas. These bills aim to establish partnerships with higher education institutions and improve college and career advising.

The Governor also mentioned that over $7 billion has been invested in career training programs across Texas in the past two years.
