Women Events Community Invited to Support March and May Celebrations Advancing Business, Youth Leadership, and Women's Empowerment of the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce Inc. (HAAMCC) and support the Women's Council
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - TelAve -- The Haitian American Chamber of Commerce Inc. (HAAMCC) proudly announces two signature events commemorating five years of service, advocacy, and community impact: the Haitian Chamber Initiative of CASC (Community, Arts, Sports, and Commerce) Programming and the annual Empowered Women, Empower Women Celebration.
These milestone events, taking place in March and May, mark a powerful moment in the Chamber's continued mission to strengthen Haitian-owned businesses, uplift entrepreneurs, empower youth, and expand opportunities for women throughout the community.
Five Years of Advocacy and Action
Since its inception, the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce Inc. (HAAMCC) has served as a strategic advocate for small businesses and entrepreneurs, providing access to resources, networking opportunities, educational programming, and economic development initiatives.
Through its CASC Initiative, the Chamber has intentionally integrated Community, Arts, Sports, and Commerce to create a holistic ecosystem where culture and commerce intersect. CASC programming highlights local talent, promotes youth entrepreneurship, supports creative industries, and fosters cross-sector collaboration that strengthens both economic and cultural capital.

"CASC represents our belief that business does not exist in isolation," said a Chamber founder Jean-Pierre Turgot. "Thriving communities are built when commerce, culture, and opportunity grow together."
Empowered Women, Empower Women – Celebrating 4 Years
The Chamber's Empowered Women, Empower Women event has become a cornerstone celebration recognizing dynamic women leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers. Now in its fifth year, the event continues to spotlight women who are breaking barriers, creating economic opportunities, and mentoring the next generation.
With more than 30 women empowered within the Chamber's network over the past five years, this milestone year also signals an exciting next chapter: the establishment of a Women's Council dedicated to advancing advocacy initiatives for women and young girls in business and leadership.
The Women's Council will focus on:
* Mentorship and leadership development
* Advocacy for women-owned businesses
* Financial literacy and wealth-building education
* Programs designed to introduce young girls to entrepreneurship and innovation
Elevating the Next Generation
In addition to supporting established businesses, the Chamber remains committed to elevating children and youth within the space of business. Through workshops, exposure to entrepreneurship, and mentorship initiatives, the organization is building pathways for young leaders to see themselves as future business owners, innovators, and community builders.
