Helping high-functioning women reduce mental load by redesigning broken life systems
TelAve News/10885378
ROXBORO, N.C. - TelAve -- Roxboro, NC — As more high-functioning women report exhaustion despite doing "everything right," Certified AI Coach Tamberly Hamlett is sounding the alarm. According to Hamlett, the issue is not time management, motivation, or self-care. It is mental load, and the old wellness model was never designed to address it.
"Women are not overwhelmed because they lack discipline," Hamlett explains. "They are overwhelmed because they are carrying the invisible responsibility of thinking for everyone and everything. That is a psychological shift, not a productivity problem."
Recent research shows women shoulder up to 75% of cognitive and emotional labor at home, even while working full time. Over 70% of high-performing women report chronic stress, despite actively using planners, therapy, or wellness tools. These numbers reveal a clear breakdown in traditional wellness approaches that focus on coping instead of redesigning life systems.
"The old model tells women to manage stress better," Hamlett says. "The new reality is that stress is coming from broken structures. You cannot self-care your way out of a system that is draining you."

Through her company, Digital Wellness Journal, Hamlett helps women redesign the structure of their lives using AI-powered journaling, AI-supported systems, and repeatable frameworks. Rather than asking women to do more, her approach reduces mental load by clarifying priorities, simplifying decisions, and creating sustainable rhythms.
"This is not about journaling feelings and hoping for clarity," Hamlett adds. "It is about building decision infrastructure so women can stop carrying everything in their heads."
Hamlett believes this shift reflects a broader cultural awakening. "Women are no longer accepting survival as success. They want lives that actually support them, and they expect tools that meet the complexity of their reality."
