EVANSVILLE, Ind. - TelAve -- First in-person Horror Haven Film Expo comes to Showplace Cinemas East October 14–15
EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Horror fans across the Tri-State will have something new to experience this October as the Horror Haven Film Expo holds its first in-person event October 14–15, 2026, at Showplace Cinemas East in Evansville.
The two-day event will showcase independent horror features, shorts and trailers, with multiple screening blocks planned throughout both days.
Horror Haven received more than 150 submissions for its 2026 event, including entries from filmmakers in the United States, United Kingdom, Türkiye, Peru, Italy, Canada and Brazil.
"I love independent horror because of the passion and hard work each filmmaker puts into their movies," said Festival Director Shane Taraschke. "We've watched some amazing films while putting this year's Expo together, and most people would never get the chance to see movies like these. Our goal with Horror Haven is to change that. We want horror fans to come together, watch some amazing movies and celebrate the filmmakers who made them."
