Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers appoints Dawn Belamarich to its board of commissioners

FORT MYERS, Fla. - TelAve -- The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers (HACFM) has welcomed distinguished community leader Dawn Belamarich to its board of commissioners.

In this volunteer leadership role, she will actively help advance the Housing Authority's mission, engage directly with residents and support strategic efforts to strengthen ties across the community. She joins six other dedicated members appointed to the board by the mayor of the City of Fort Myers.

Belamarich currently serves as president and CEO of Collaboratory, Southwest Florida's regional community foundation and convener, committed to coordinating solutions to the region's most pressing social challenges. Widely recognized for her collaborative leadership and innovative approach to community impact, her career spans both nonprofit and for-profit sectors, where she has guided organizations through transformational growth, operational advancement and mission expansion.

Belamarich also is a member of several national and local organizational boards and is a licensed mental health counselor and clinical addiction professional in Florida. She earned a doctorate in business administration and leadership, along with dual master's degrees in sociology/criminology and mental health counseling.
