Idaho Falls: Contractor Utility Work on Lewisville Highway South of 65th North Beginning April 27

~ Idaho Falls - Bybee Excavation has announced that they will begin utility construction work on Lewisville Highway, south of 65th North, starting on Monday, April 27. The project, which is expected to last until June, will involve the installation of underground utilities to support nearby development.
According to the company, the work will take place within the roadway corridor and adjacent right of way. As a result, drivers can expect some traffic impacts in the area. However, northbound traffic on Lewisville Highway will still be maintained through the intersection while southbound traffic will be detoured at 65th North to 5th West and routed around the work zone using posted detour signage.

The City of Idaho Falls is reminding drivers to watch out for crews and equipment in the area and to obey all posted traffic control signs. They also urge drivers to reduce their speeds in the work zone for the safety of both workers and the traveling public.
It should be noted that this project is not being undertaken by the City of Idaho Falls but they are assisting in sharing this information with the public. For more details about the project, interested parties can contact Bybee Excavation at (208) 681-6554.
