Idaho Falls: Contractor Work to Temporarily Close Hoopes Avenue Beginning June 22

~ Idaho Falls residents can expect some temporary road closures on Hoopes Avenue starting from Monday, June 22. According to a press release by the Idaho Falls Public Works, Fine Dirt Inc. will be carrying out utility installation work near 1085 Hoopes Ave in association with the development of Hope Lutheran Church.
The project involves the installation of underground utilities to support the church's development. As a result, Hoopes Ave will be fully closed to through traffic in the area of 1085 Hoopes Ave. Drivers are advised to take alternate routes and use Woodruff as a detour during this time.

The closure is expected to last from Monday, June 22 until Friday, June 26, depending on weather and field conditions. Motorists are urged to be cautious and follow all posted traffic control signs while driving in the area. This is to ensure the safety of both workers and the traveling public.
It is important to note that this project is not being carried out by the City of Idaho Falls but they are assisting in sharing this information with the public.
