GIFT On ~ Idaho Falls, ID - The City of Idaho Falls has announced that Greater Idaho Falls Transit (GIFT), the city's on-demand public transportation service, will now be expanding its reach to the neighboring city of Ammon. This exciting news comes after years of requests from riders to extend GIFT's services to Ammon.

Kade Marquez, GIFT Transportation Coordinator, expressed his enthusiasm for this expansion, stating that it was the number one request from riders for the past five years. He also extended his gratitude to the city's leadership and residents for their hard work and collaboration in making this expansion possible.

To celebrate this milestone, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at Ammon City Hall on October 1st at 4:30 p.m. Both Idaho Falls and Ammon officials will be present at the event.

Residents of Ammon can now access various neighborhoods, medical centers, and major shopping centers such as Walmart, Albertsons, Target, Broulim's and more through GIFT's services. This expansion will provide more options for residents to get to their desired destinations, whether it be for work, shopping, medical appointments or visiting family.
