Idaho: Family of Gov. Dirk Kempthorne comments on his passing + HALF STAFF FLAG ORDER

Boise, Idaho ~ Boise, Idaho - The state of Idaho is mourning the loss of former Governor Dirk Kempthorne, who passed away on Friday evening in Boise. The news was confirmed by his family in a statement released to the public.
According to the statement, Governor Kempthorne passed away surrounded by his loved ones. He was not only known for his dedicated public service, but also as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
