International Mental Health Research Initiative Welcomes Lisa Courtnadge's New Clinical Role on the Sunshine Coast

BUDERIM, Australia - TelAve -- The Human Resilience Project (THRP), an international mental health and resilience research initiative, is celebrating Lisa Courtnadge's appointment as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with Lucid Minds in Buderim on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Lisa will take on this frontline clinical role while continuing her volunteer research work with THRP, strengthening the Project's growing global engagement.
Lisa holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the South African College of Applied Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Cape Town. Her applied experience includes Applied Behaviour Analysis Technician (ABAT) training, therapeutic work with children on the autism spectrum in Vietnam, and extensive volunteer involvement in mental health recovery support, including group facilitation and one-on-one counselling.
For the past five years, Lisa has served as a Research Specialist with The Human Resilience Project, working alongside Dr. Constance Scharff, Founder and Principal Investigator, on transdisciplinary research exploring trauma recovery, addiction, and culturally grounded models of resilience in diverse communities worldwide. Her appointment at Lucid Minds will add to her practical skill set and inform ongoing research.

About The Human Resilience Project
The Human Resilience Project (THRP) is dedicated to advancing understanding and fostering resilience among indigenous and marginalized communities facing mental health concerns, trauma, and climate change. By integrating traditional knowledge with contemporary research, THRP aims to develop culturally grounded approaches that empower communities to navigate and mitigate the psychological effects of environmental disruption.
